General Glue HV is a solvent-based fibrous adhesive, formulated with bitumen, selected elastomeric resins and special additives.
General Glue HV is suitable for cold bonding insulation panels, expanded polystyrene, extruded polystyrene, expanded polyurethane, perlite, cellulosic and mineral fibers to concrete, cement, metal, wood and bitumen polymer membranes.
General Glue HV is ready to use and can be applied over the entire surface, in dots or strips with a spatula or roller. In winter time, pre-heat the product in bain-marie or use the specific winter version General Glue HV INV.
Laying by strips: at least 4 strips of 4 cm width per m² for a consumption of 650÷850 g/m² depending on the type of surface.
Spot application: for each m², 10 spots of about 50÷80 g of product each.
Near the perimeter, emerging bodies, reliefs in general, the number of strips or points should be doubled for an area about 1 m wide, also in the case of spreading over the entire surface, the gluing should be supplemented with mechanical fixings.
