General Glue reduces the negative effects of any cracking. It is spread evenly on the horizontal laying surface (max. slope 10 %) while also creating an intermediate waterproof layer between the substrate and the membrane when dry. General Glue is used for cold application of bituminous membranes.
General Glue is ready to use and must be applied on the substrate with a special doctor blade or with special guns or pumps specifically built for this purpose. The glue must be applied at a temperature not lower than 5°C (application temperature of the BPP membrane) for a consumption of about 1 Kg/m². General Glue, under the bituminous covering, remains liquid for a long time and is slowly absorbed by the membrane preserving it from ageing.
