GEMINI VAPOR employs a compound consisting in distilled bitumen modified with selected elasto-plastomeric polymers and atactic polypropylene; its excellent quality is highlighted by two indicators: low temperature flexibility (-10° C) and flow resistance at high temperature (120° C).
Membranes with good flow resistance at high temperatures are suited to any climatic zone, and are particularly indicated in areas with warm climates and for use in thermally-insulated roofing systems. Good cold flexibility enables an easy application of the membrane, an important feature in areas characterized by harsh climates.
The reinforcement used in GEMINI VAPOR membranes is constituted by a reinforced, rot-proof polyester, and an aluminum film which guarantees excellent performance as a vapour barrier.
