Environmental Culture represents a very important and essential value for General Membrane. Respect and protection of the environment, both working and external, represent an ethical and moral obligation, even before legal, of every organization.
In order to improve the sustainability of production processes it is necessary to constantly measure and monitor the consequences of its interventions.
This is why General Membrane has undertaken the most difficult challenge among those of voluntary Certifications: the design and application of an Environmental Management System according to the International Standard UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004, for which the Company minutely reports the contribution of each step of the production chain, with a view to continuous improvement.
The numerous investments made in this direction have led the company to obtain, in 2005, the international certification UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004 for the Environmental Management System of the Ceggia site.
This certification was joined in 2014 by the analysis of General Membrane Carbon Footprint.
