General Membrane's solutions to protect against hail
Hail-Shield product range offers a range of certified technical solutions against hail, suitable for all the stratigraphies having field of use in total exposure: Hail-Shield membranes can be employed on flat, sloped and with complex geometry roofs, both on soft and rigid supports, layed as single layer or as last layer of a multi-layer system.
The tests, realised at EMPA laboratories in Zurich, have been carried out according to Swiss standard VKF TP09. All the 12 roofing packages analysed have passed the tests of resistance to hail reaching the maximum classification level - HW5.
