General Vernice Eco Alu is a water-based decorative and "green" protective paint with aluminium. Its formula consists of aluminium paste, necessary to ensure brilliant silvery appearance over time, fillers, vinyl copolymers, water and additives. It does not contain solvents. General Vernice Eco Alu creates a film that is sufficiently pliable to adapt to movements and expansions of those BPP membranes subject to even the most severe temperature changes. During summer the temperature of the bituminous surface is reduced from 80° C to 40-45° C, thus improving thermal insulation and waterproofing service life.
General Vernice Eco Alu is used as a protective and reflective coating for polymer-bitumen membranes (BPP), to which it gives a bright silvery appearance. It is particularly suitable where it is prohibited the use of solvent-based products
General Vernice Eco Alu in the can looks soft and well suspended, without any kind of deposits. Just blend it slightly to get a homogeneous product that can be easily applied using both an airless sprayer, a roller or a brush. Two coats are always recommended, applied at a distance of about three hours between one and the other (at a temperature of 20° C and < 60% humidity) To coat slated products 24 hours should divide the two coats (at a temperature of 20° C and <60% humidity). Indicatively, the consumption is 150/200 grams per square meter
