General Vernice Alu is a solvent-based decorative and bituminous protective paint with aluminum. Its formula consists of aluminium paste, necessary to ensure brilliant silvery appearance over time, solvents, mineral spirits, bitumen, oil resins, fillers. It does not contain chlorinated solvents.
General Vernice Alu is a solvent-based decorative and bituminous protective paint with aluminium. Its formula consists of aluminium paste, necessary to ensure brilliant silvery appearance over time, solvents, mineral spirits, bitumen, oil resins, fillers. It does not contain chlorinated solvents. Once dried it forms a film that reflects the sun's rays, thus contributing in an appreciable way to improve thermal insulation of protected surfaces: it does not drip at high temperatures and is sufficiently pliable to adapt to movements and expansions of those polymer bituminous membranes subject to even the most severe temperature changes. During summer reduces the temperature of the bituminous surface from 80° C to 40-45° C, thus improving thermal insulation and waterproofing service life.
General Vernice Alu is used as a protective and reflective coating for polymer-bitumen membranes, to which it gives a bright silvery appearance.
General Vernice Alu should be applied undiluted with an airless spray, or even using a roller or a brush. Just blend it slightly to get a homogeneous product that can be easily applied. Consumption ranges from 150-200 grams/m² per coat, two coats are always recommended.
